There are many interesting places to visit during your stay at the Dona Lola Club.
The new coastal board walk that passes the resort offers the opportunity for pleasant walks along the coast as far as La Cala to the east and Cabopino to the west.
Marbella has superb beaches, restaurants, shops and entertainment and do take a walk around the old town.
Fuengirola offers great beaches, a water park, shops, restaurants, bars and night clubs.
Mijas is a traditional Andalucian white village high in the mountains above Fuengirola.
Ronda is a little further away but its gorge and views around the town make the journey well worth the effort. By car the journey takes around 45 minutes or travel on Mr Henderson’s Railway from Algiceras or San Roque through stunning scenery.
Puerto Banus offers an opportunity to mix with the jet set.
Gibraltar, Seville and Granada are all within day trip range.
Malaga is well worth a visit, particularly the old town, cathedral, Alcazaba, Picasso Museum, port area, and the newly opened Pompidou Centre.
